Appologies (LONG POST!)

Hey Everyonee!

Okay, so i need to start out by saying how sorry i am. It's been actually almost a year since I've posted. I don't know where the time went. I thought i had updated more before the end of my contract. :( But i can share with a brief (HAHA!) summary.
In January i stayed at a resort (Port Orleans- French Quarter) with Edd and we had a fabolous time! I remember we went to the bar in the resort and he had a couple Long Island Ice Teas and got really drunk off of them (light weight!) and we had a good time! He bought all the stuff ready to re in act Fantasmic, but he passed out instead. I remember we woke up early the next day and headed off to Magic Kingdom, as per usual. Had loads of fun and did some hidden mickeys. I remember it was the first time i met Chip & Dale too!! Chip tried walking off with me. I had a lot of fun! That's all i really remember about January. It was really cold, we braved it a lot and still went to the the parks loads.
I remember spending a lot of time with Rob Gill at Magic Kingdom. Edd and i grew a part a lot in the new year after chrsitmas and i spent more time with Canadians as he spent more time with Sandy. Rob started introducing me to his entertainment friends at Magic Kingdom. I was in heaven from the very beginning. Of course me wanting so badly to be a character performer i took in every moment. We'd go to Magic Kingdom and meet the characters and watch them in the parades, i also spent a lot of time down in the tunnels underneath the castle. Kody and Rob quickly helped me find my way around and would find any excuse to be down there. I mean how cool is it to be walking down there and pass by the Fairy God Mother from Cinderella? Soo coool!
Also in January, they were doing character training near my work location and i would constantly see them backstage and would immediately freak out! I would walk out back and see Miko and scream his name, run up and hug him!! It was so much fun for me. But unfortunatly it only last a month or so.

Also in January we had our Disney Grad. This was interesting. I was really excited to go to it at first, but it made me sad because i knew my time was slowly coming to an end at Walt Disney World. The grad ended up being quite fun. You have to get up at 6am or i guess be at the buses by then and you get to the Grad at 8am. All your managers were there and you had a cute little breakfast. The grad is of 3 or 4 different arrivial groups. I couldn't have asked for a better one. I had all my close friends from the beginning of my program there and we had a lot of fun. I sat at the UK table with Edd and Sandy and spent most of my time with them. I got my charactchur drawing done and met with Mickey and Minnie (highlightss!) took tons of picturess with all my friends, roommates, and managers. After that we left and checked are bags into the hotel (Edd, Sandy and i had decided to stay a night at Bay Lake Towers & a night a Contemporary Resorts), and then headed off to Magic Kingdom. The coolest part is you get your Mickey grad ears and it's free for disney grads to get it embroidered. So we did that, went on lots of rides, saw shows, attempted to get into Cinderella's Royal Table as a walk in (not lucky enough), and then after a while we headed over to Epcot for dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse. It was fun playing in the parks in our grad dresses and going to my work with my grad ears all dressed up! I loved it. Had a fabulous dinner and headed back to Bay Lake Towers to watch Wishes from are room. It was lovely. Edd was sick so he had a hard time, and ended up losing his voice for a little. :(
We woke up the next day and went to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios? i think. Had lots of fun and then went back to the Contemporary Resort to get ready for our dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's. This was the most fun i had at a disney restaurant! We met Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. It was a blast and you get to get up and wave your napkins in the air. SOO MUCH FUN! After we bought Clue - Disney style and had a colouring contest in are room.
Ohh i also remember we went down late in the night and soaked our feet in the hot tub and then these 4 ladies came down.. and they started making small chat with us. They ended up being from Canada and we had soo much to talk about! They did the typical London thing with Edd, and couldn't believe Sandy when she said her age. It was really nice to meet people there that used to live so close to me! Crazy!
Well eventually we went to bed (i think we put on Lion King or something) and bright and early in the morning i left them.
Kody, Brittany, and Jenny showed up and we were off to MIAMI BITCHESSS! haha
We drove three hours up there.. walked along the beach, took pictures.. walked the streets, ate lunch at a cute restaurant, walked down to Miami Ink, met the owner and all the tattoo artists and then headed back to Orlando. I wish we had stayed a little longer, but it was still a lot of fun!

Okay now on to February! It was an interesting month. I was starting to say goodbye to a lot of my close friends! I said goodbye to David, Kelly, Craig, and Ali. It was hard seeing them leave because i was so close to them, and they were just a part of my daily routine. It started becoming a little more real for me, but i was still stuck in the bubble. So Edd and i in 2009 had booked our Vacation time together in February. We choose the second week in Feb, but we were still undecided as to what we were gunna do. At first we were gunna go on a DCL Caribbean for a week, but then we waited to long and all the good prices were gone. So then we were thinking of going to California and Washington, and a few other places, but i was tight on money. Then.. i came home from work and i got this phone call from Edd (he NEVER calls me, rarely texted me either!) and said i needed to come over as soon as possible to discuss are trip and it was really important. So i went over and the first thing he said was that we were now going to Las Vegas. There was an unexpected vacancy at a Garth Brooks concert and he booked with out even asking. So i thought well that will be fun. I had no interest in Garth Brooks, but thought what i hell? So we decided and booked literally two nights before we left that we were going to fly to California for 5 nights(spending three in Disneyland & two in LA/Hollywood), and 2 nights in Las Vegas, one of them seeing Garth Brooks. It was all planned out and we were ready to go!

We left for our six hour flight to LAX.. and it was soo long. We stopped in Atlanta for a few hours and had a lot of fun taking pictures in the airport. We got back on are plane and then finally landed at LAX at 10:30pm. We waited for ages for our taxi/shuttle. We were the last stop and they even made a personal stop all the way out in no where to drop this guy off at his house. Wasn't impressed. It was bumpy along the highway which we made fun of of course. Now over the corse of the week i was in charge of two hotels and edd was in charge of one. His was the one we stayed in at Disneyland. He decided to pick "Quality Inn". This was honestly THE WORST hotel i've ever stayed in. It clearly lacked quality, but it was cheap and close to Disneyland. Edd was sick again, but he was pretty good during it. I left him once to go to Downtown Disney and play while he got some sleep in the hotel. I remember i got stopped in the security when i was trying to cross and they thought my i-pod head phones were a bomb. I wasn't impressed. They treated me not nicely. Disneyland itself was a lot of fun. It was really small compared to Magic Kingdom and was quite busy because it was smaller. We watched the parade, did all the rides we could, enjoyed a lot of it. It rained the last night we were there.. and they canceled the Fireworks show because of the winds which we were quit upset about because it was the only time we could see them.
We spent one and a half days at California Adventures. It was LOTS of fun too. We saw them build World of Colour and did a bunch of rides, saw some shows. Was overall a great time! We spent are last evening after dinner after killing time infront of a dark closed Disneyland taking pictures and climbing the fences into the park (we never went over!) Finally our shuttle came to get us and took a long trek back to LAX. We from there took the free shuttle bus to are next hotel. It's considered an airport hotel and was like 10 mins away from the airport. It was called the Hacienda Hotel. It was really nice, at least compared to the last one. We had a lot of fun here. First we went to Hollywood on the SUBWAY! We were soo scared. We asked the concierge if it was safe and he basically said no. So we de-breifed in the room and de-touristized ourselves. I even kept an old expired credit card in my pocket in case we got mugged. But it was a breeeze! We had no issues or even close issues. We made it to Hollywood by night and of course walked the strip and looked at what had to be hundreds of Stars on the ground. We went into a bunch of stores and had a good time. We were waiting until Edd's friend, Steph from the UK (she went to school in England for a year with Edd and they were still in touch) so we met up with her, went out for dinner with her and then hung out more in Hollywood. After she drove us out to a secret awesome location to see the Hollywood sign. It was near this weird scary cliff, but it was beautiful. She drove us home, but i swear that was more scary then the subway. She was a crazy driver and took her 2 hours to get us back to our hotel. I had a lot of fun though. I remember talking a lot about Miley Cyrus lying about being able to see the Hollywood sign from LAX. haha
Next day we were flying out, but not until the evening.. so we had most of the day to roam around the area where we were staying. It was nice. So we finally made our way back to the airport and flew to LAS VEGAS!
Las Vegas was really fun. There isn't a lot to report on. I was underage, so i couldn't enjoy it to it's full potential. But i will one day. The Garth Brooks concert was just FAB! I'm in love with him and would love to see him again! We went to a lot of the hotels on the strip and did lots of touristy things. We stayed at the Stratosphere and that hotel was amazing! It was the main one i choose and paid for. It was $99 for two nights! DEAL! haha.. only thing is it was at the end of the strip. But we had free access to the tower, and it was beautiful up top.
And that was basically February! Edd and i were pretty distant again after the trip for the rest of my contract. We fought a bit and i started to spend more time with Canadians.

March!! Well this was my freak out month. It had started to occur to me that i had one month left in this happy place and didn't want to go home! Near the beginning of march edd and i spent a night at the Wilderness Lodge and had SOOO much fun! We ate at Whispering Canyon which is one of my favorite restaurants at Disney, and went outside after and goofed around. I had this little mickey mouse key chain for my phone, and edd was obsessed with ruining him. He would throw him in my drinks, in a waterfall and color on him with crayon. Sooo mean to his boss! haha
We ended up taking pictures of mickey doing different things. He was a lifeguard, suntanned on the beach, swam in a river, went fishing, viewed a waterfall, well down a dark hole (or edd tricked me and said he did!!) went all over the resort. We had a blast and did more random moments around the place. I had soo much fun!! when i think back about my program and Edd.. i usually think of this resort and how much fun we had all the different times.

Just before Edd and i stayed at the resort Michelle and i had a crazy idea to move to Patterson Court into a one bedroom for my last month and her last two months. It was a beautiful apartment. It was brand new! We were the first to live in it! It was soo clean, big and it was just OURS!! No dirty Norwegians!! Horray!! haha.. no offence Norway. What else happened in March? Well i said goodbye to more people! =( Kate, Heather, actually.. i think that's it for March. For the people that i was really going to miss. Near the end of March my family came to visit again, and we went on a cruise to the bahamas!
We did a Carnival Sensation four night cruise. I had soo much fun!! It was nice seeing everyone again and going away right before i went home. They were there for 10 days total i think. By the time they left it was April.
So April. This was the worst month! It was hitting me that i was leaving. I was stressing over money and getting home, i was stressing over Edd because he wouldn't spend anytime with me before i was leaving because his family and Rose-Marie came to visit last minute and they left the day i was supposed to leave. I finished my program on April 16th, 2010. My sing out was soo much fun!! It was over whelming and i bawled my eyes out standing on that fireplace. My throw out was hard too, but really fun at the same time. So here i was... on April 16th.. what to do? Well Edd had been a big part of my program and knew i wasn't going to be able to see him unless i stayed a few extra days. So i stayed in a crap hotel close to disney for two nights and spent my last days with Selina, Edd, and Sandy. On the day of my flight (it wasn't until the evening) so in the morning Edd and i met up at none other then the Wilderness Lodge, and we went jet skiing! It was soo much fun. We did it around the resort and all the way to Magic Kingdom. It was a great last way to spend time with Edd. We ate at Whispering Canyon again and said our goodbyes at the lobby. Not gunna lie, i definitely cried on the way to downtown Disney.
I met up with Taryn, Selina, and Deanna at T-Rex for a last minute bite to eat. I just got a little dessert which looked like timbits.. Mmmmmm. anyways, and then it was my time to go to the airport. So taryn was me out to the door and we had to say our goodbyes. I don't remember crying so much with a person before. I love her soo much and it was really hard to say goodbye. It was her that made me cry and what she said. But finally i had to go, and i did. Got my luggage and headed back to the airport.
I got on my flight, flew to Calgary, Alberta. Got off to see a smiling face holding up three hilarious signs. It was CRAIG!! He had one sign that said 'Disney Reject' another that said something about Janice Trew (one of are managers) and i can't remember what the other one said. Him and his brother picked me up and took me to Craig's place. I had a blast the next day in Calgary! He showed me soo much! And then in the late afternoon i said my goodbyess and headed back to the airport for my flight home to Victoria, BC. And here i am!

Sorry for the long post, i just thought it was fair to talk about my last couple months!!!
STAY TUNED FOR GOOD NEWS! :)
